Japan has unique shops. Today I’m gonna share you a shop that might be interesting for foreigners.
Tokyu Hands Shibuya
Tokyu Hands as Shibuya has 7 floors and the floor is separated by 3 small layers. So it has over 20 floors. My recommendation way to browsing is going to the top floor by elevator and down to each floor to see. You’ll like this shop especially for a person who loves creating/making/crafting something.
They are selling tons of items that are tiny parts of something. e.g clinchers for a bracelet, half of sphere styrofoam, ink for plastic and so on. You can buy even beakers and flasks. What are those for? It’s up to you or your imagination.
Here are items I recommend you for souvenirs below. Sorry, I have no photos now… I’ll take photos of those soon.
1. Magic Gadgets
There are many magic secrets like cards, never breaking coin, the flying stick, etc. It’s fun even know about the secret of magic, practice it and show it to your friends.
2. Foods for Space
The interesting item I’ve found is foods prepared for astronauts. Have you tried this?? I’ve never tried this but I want to try near future. It looks like dried foods and crunchy. You can feel the space… maybe haha.
3. Post Card Looks like Sunny Egg
There are many kinds of post cards. The most uniquest one is looks like sunny side egg but it’s really post card. In addtion, of course you can buy a beautiful post card.
More Than Finding New Thing
During thought into Tokyu Hands, You will see a counter that you can attend some small workshops. e.g making a accessory, keyholders and so on. If you get interest, let’s join that.
You must get new inspirations/new discoveries just after thought the top floor to bottom floor. At the 7th floor has the cafe, so you can drop by there when you are tired after you look items.
